Behind every great football team is great parents. We appreciate your help in making the 2010 Central Catholic Vikings Football season a success! It takes a lot of time and resources to put together a quality program. In order to fill all required volunteer positions, we ask that you volunteer a minimum of 3 times during the season. We offer many different types of volunteer opportunities and would like to invite you to sign up early so that you can choose what you like best.Online Volunteer Sign Ups We are excited to announce that we will be offering online sign ups this year for your convenience. If you signed up for a volunteer position at our mandatory meeting, you are already signed up online as well. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinators: Admissions, 50/50 and Post Game Snacks - Kathy TroyFootball Camp Meals and Pre-Game Meals - Sheryl Haraczy Game Day Event Volunteer Arrival Times All Game Day event volunteers should be at the game entrance 1 hour before the start of the game except for the volunteers serving post game snacks. Post Game Snack volunteers should report to the buses at the 5 minute mark of the 4th quarter to set up. For the CMU game, report to the outside of the locker room. Pre-Game Meal Volunteers will report to the school cafeteria 3 1/2 hours before the game starts. Volunteer Positions Admissions (Sophomore Parents/Guardians) Depending on the game, there may be multiple entrances. There are 3 entrances at CMU where tables will be set up. You will be assigned a location and provided instructions specific to each game when you arrive. Sign Up to be an Admission Volunteer 50/50 (Sophomore Parents/Guardians) Kathy Troy and/or Theresa Meyer will be at the entrance to give you tickets, buckets and start up money. They will also provide specific instructions on how to handle 50/50 for each game. Sign Up to be a 50/50 Volunteer Post Game Snack (Sophomore Parents/Guardians) Meet at the buses. Set up the table with the drinks and food and serve each player their snack (1 only per player). Sign Up to be a Post Game Snack Volunteer Football Camp Meals (Sophomore, Junior and Senior Parents/Guardians) Lunch Volunteers: Report to the cafeteria at 11:15 a.m. Dinner Volunteers: Report to the cafeteria at 4:15 p.m. Sign Up to be a Camp Meal Volunteer Pre-Game Camp Meals (Sophomore, Junior and Senior Parents/Guardians) Report to the cafeteria 3 1/2 hours before the game starts. Your volunteer coordinator will assign you various responsibilities that may include, but not be limited to setting up, serving catered meals and cleaning up.
